Summertime is a season when many buyers and sellers chose to move because of their children. Most feel that they would like to be settled in their new home and / or location well before the start of the new school session so that the children can acclamate to the new home and neighborhood. It is also a period of time when parents should be sensitive to their childrens needs. Researchers caution that the most important thing a parent can do is 'listen' to their children, regardless of their age! It is important to involve the youngsters in all phases of the move including: househunting, packing, and notifying family and friends of the new move. Children, regardless of age should be encouraged to pack their own belongings and notify their own friends personally.
